In this module, we are able to learn and know more about the culture and history about various buildings in different era and places as well. We also learnt about how the buildings was costructed during different era, what was the material they used, what was the method to construct to represent in an architecture way, what was the reason to construct in this way and so on. Besides, we also learnt about those document intentions, concepts, patterns, disciplines, architectural language and contextual relationships.

ABSTRACT MODEL: vILLA BARBARO

One of the project in this module besides the forum and presenation board, is this Abstract model of the building of our group ( Groupmates: Patricia, Kai Zer, Chien Sheng and Prashobh) that is Villa Barbaro. in this last project, we have to make an abstract model of the Villa Barbaro. We hav to study about the architectural style, the history, the building concepts as well as the materials used in this villa. Then only we can decide which part that is more significant in this villa so that we can make an abstract model of this villa. From another point of view, we can only extract the sinificcant or important parts, features or elements from this villa for our model.

So, we have taken the pediment, the nymphaeum, the ionic columns and some other significant parts from the exterior of this villa to put in our model.

For the interior of this villa, we cannot skip the frescos part for sure. So we have inserted the one of the most important features of this villa in the interior design of our model.
